In 2013, Minera Los Pelambres commissioned BRASS to carry out an engineering service for assessing the condition of HDPE lining in areas near flanges and spools located between 37 km and 60 km. A technical inspection campaign was conducted, which involved gathering information about the existing threadolets in that section, along with recording ultrasonic acoustic patterns to determine anomalies with recommendations and consultation provided from the inspection.
