In 2019, Minera Los Pelambres commissioned BRASS to carry out a chemical cleaning of the concentrate pipeline to remove any existing interior residual deposits. For this purpose, laboratory tests were conducted to identify the specific composition type of acid to be used, along with a specific calibrated measured concentration for a non-aggressive chemical cleaning process.
