In 2006, Collahuasi Mining Company requested BRASS to undertake the detailed engineering as part of an upgrade to increase the capacity of the concentrate pipeline through a project expansion, replacing 33 km of pipeline (23 km in the upper section and 10 km in the lower section) from 7″ diameter to 8″ diameter.
