In September 2024, the First International Seminar organized by BRASS was held in Bhubaneshwar, India, entitled “Design and Operation of Long-Distance Fluid Transportation Systems.” This event brought together an exclusive group of business leaders from the country’s mining industry who shared their needs and presented the challenges their companies faced regarding mineral transportation. Over two consecutive days, BRASS expert engineers gave various technical presentations focused on key aspects for long-distance pipeline design, considerations for ensuring sustainable fluid transportation, and the importance of pipeline integrity management to prevent failures and reduce risks in a system. They also responded to guests’ questions through question-and-answer sessions rich in knowledge, experience, and the exchange of opinions.
The event’s success was reflected in the interaction and interest shown by local mining companies, many of which have begun to consider incorporating our services into their strategic projects.
